Role Overview and Scope
Human Capital/Talent Acquisition is viewed as a critical lever for value creation and of key strategic importance to ACP. This is a newly created position reporting to our Talent Partner. This person will work with the operations and investment teams to ensure best-in-class talent strategies are implemented across the fund and the portfolio. He/she will lead critical searches for portfolio company executive team positions and act as a trusted advisor through every step of the search process: role definition, candidate generation, project management, interviewing, gaining market and compensation insight, referencing, and offers. In addition to working closely with portfolio companies, this person will do internal recruiting for investment and operations professionals. As a key member of the Talent Acquisition team, the Manager of Talent Acquisition will participate in various projects including developing best practices and making best use of the Thrive database and other available technologies.
The successful candidate will be a strong relationship builder who will help build out ACPs executive network — leveraging relationships both inside and outside of ACP.
Candidate Profile
- Experienced in a combination of recruiting-related roles, ideally some combination of executive search, PE or VC talent role, and corporate HR role with executive recruiting responsibilities.
- Experience working for a PE firm/company in one or more of the sectors in which ACP invests.
- Several years of experience interviewing senior executives across a variety of functional roles.
- High IQ and business judgment with excellent communication skills.
- Strengths in relationship building, collaboration, and team-based work.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects at once, with tight timelines and demanding clients/internal customers. Organized and process oriented.
- Has a passion for building and establishing new processes and best practices as a creative and strategic thinker.
- Embraces ACPs values and culture.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree is a plus.
