Armko Announced as Align Capital Partners’ Newest AEC Platform

CLEVELAND and DALLAS, January 6, 2026  |  Align Capital Partners (“ACP”) announced today the acquisition of Armko Industries (“Armko” or the “Company”), a provider of specialized building envelope, roofing and waterproofing consulting services. Headquartered in Dallas-Fort Worth, the Company serves K-12 school districts, higher education, municipalities, healthcare systems and commercial clients in the Southwest — managing every phase of building owners’ needs. Industry executive Josh Brown will lead the Armko team moving forward with Founder Rodney Ruebsahm retiring as part of the transaction.

“Over the past forty years, Armko has expanded into a highly regarded building envelope consulting partner poised for its next phase of growth,” said Ruebsahm. “I’m proud of our team and our commitment to clients, and excited to see the team build on the firm’s legacy in its next chapter with Align Capital Partners. I believe our shared commitment to service, technical expertise and performance results makes this partnership a perfect fit.”

“I am honored to join the talented team at Armko,” said Brown. “In my previous architecture / engineering roles in the region, I witnessed firsthand how Armko consistently delivers for clients through deep technical knowledge and a results-oriented approach. In partnership with ACP, we are well positioned to continue to enhance Armko’s services for our clients and aim to drive meaningful growth opportunities for our employees.”

ACP’s investment in Armko marks the firm’s second platform investment in the Architecture, Engineering & Construction (“AEC”) industry. Having invested significant time mapping growth opportunities, ACP is excited to support Armko’s goals for expansion through strategic add-on acquisitions.

“Armko has built an outstanding reputation as a critical, trusted partner to institutional clients across Texas,” said Jack Parks, Partner at Align Capital Partners. “This has led to a strong foundation of reoccurring consulting engagements supporting clients’ retrofit and new roofing needs. We believe Armko is well-positioned to enter new markets across the South.”

Rob Langley, Stuart Schardin, Matt Bowen and Ben Bryles worked alongside Mr. Parks on the transaction. ACP was advised by Calfee, Halter & Griswold LLP with market support provided by FMI Consulting. Armko was advised by Metronome Partners and Haynes Boone.
