Align Capital Partners’ (“ACP”) environmental testing and compliance platform Alliance Technical Group (“Alliance” or the “Company”) has acquired Horizon Air Measurement Services, Inc. (“Horizon”). Headquartered in Camarillo, CA, Horizon provides source emission (or stack) testing services to customers across the Western United States.
Acquiring Horizon adds the talent necessary to continue the expansion of all Alliance service lines in the region. “Adding resources to our rapidly expanding West Coast operations was imperative, and Horizon delivers on both strategic and geographic fit,” noted Alliance CEO Chris LeMay. “As Alliance continues to expand, we look to partner with high quality, customer-focused companies across all of our services lines.”
Richard Vacherot, Technical Director at Horizon, echoes LeMay’s sentiment on the two companies being a natural fit, “We’ve worked with Alliance to put our employees on the same team and are very excited to achieve this goal. Together, Alliance and Horizon have a national footprint with coast-to-coast offices and more than 750 employees, providing technical expertise across a diverse range of end markets. This acquisition represents the Company’s twelfth since 2015 and fifth of 2021.
This transaction also marks an exciting milestone for ACP. Horizon is the 50th acquisition the firm has closed since raising its inaugural fund in 2016. ACP’s deal roster is comprised of 13 platforms and 37 add-ons representing companies from 21 unique states and countries.
