CLEVELAND and DALLAS, September 9, 2026 – Align Capital Partners’ (“ACP”) environmental control platform MKB Company (the “Company” or “MKB”) announced today the acquisition of Siltworm, an Indiana-based manufacturer of erosion and sediment control products. The acquisition expands MKB’s product capabilities and strengthens its ability to offer customers effective, sustainable solutions supported by a growing national manufacturing and distribution network.
Siltworm specializes in proprietary rolled filter products designed to control sediment and reduce erosion across a variety of applications, including perimeter control, inlet protection, stockpile protection, ditch maintenance and slope interruption. Its products feature a lightweight, biodegradable fill material and are designed to be easy to install, cost-effective and environmentally responsible.
“Siltworm is a natural fit for MKB as we continue to expand our product offerings and invest in innovative solutions that help our customers achieve better environmental outcomes,” said Rick Costello, CEO of MKB Company. “The Siltworm team has built a differentiated product, a strong customer following and a reputation for innovation and service.”
The addition of Siltworm complements MKB’s broad portfolio of products. Together, the companies will provide customers with a more complete product lineup, expanded technical expertise, reliable supply and greater access to sustainable erosion control solutions. Siltworm founder Joe Moore will remain with the business as MKB’s Vice President, Market Development, bringing his technical expertise and longstanding industry relationships to support customer education, product growth and market expansion.
This transaction marks the sixth acquisition since MKB partnered with ACP in November 2024. MKB will continue its acquisition strategy of partnering with leading companies across the stormwater and erosion control industry. The ACP deal team of Matt Beesley, Chris Jones, Ross Fuller, Joe Vitale, Andrew Foster and Ryan Schmidt worked alongside management on the transaction.
