Align Capital Partners (“ACP”) announced today the closing of a fourth strategic add-on for its utility intelligence platform E Source. StrategyWise (the “Company”) is a provider of predictive analytics services and artificial intelligence (“AI”) consulting to a growing number of utility customers. The Company helps customers fully leverage their data in forecasting applications such as customer purchase propensities, asset generation curves and capital deployment decisions.
Based in Birmingham, AL, StrategyWise offers comprehensive services ranging from developing a data science strategy to providing custom machine learning solutions. “StrategyWise was established with the goal of helping organizations use their data to thrive,” said Joshua Jones, CEO of StrategyWise. “We’ve seen tremendous growth as a result of our recent focus in utilities, and we’re watching our clients save real dollars in O&M and capital costs,” said Jones, who will now serve as the VP of Market Innovation for E Source’s Data Science Division. “We feel E Source is the perfect partner to take these tools to market. Its nationwide platform will help us grow to the next level.”

ACP acquired E Source in June of 2019 and announced earlier this year the acquisitions of QuadROI, UtiliWorks Consulting and Trove Predictive Data Science. StrategyWise will be united under the E Source brand in the months ahead.
