ACP Believes in the Power of Data with Growth Investment in Cleartelligence

CLEVELAND and DALLAS, January 5, 2023 | Align Capital Partners (“ACP”) announced today the recapitalization of Cleartelligence (or the “Company”), a data engineering and analytics consulting firm focused on helping enterprise clients envision, design and implement solutions that solve complex business problems. The Company leverages strategic partnerships with various technology platforms including Snowflake, Tableau, Alteryx, Fivetran, Dbt, Databricks and others to serve clients across several end markets including life sciences, pharma, healthcare and manufacturing.

Since its founding in 2011 by Managing Partners Joe Marino and Ron Keler, Cleartelligence has built a diverse team of functional and technical experts dedicated to helping clients identify business insights and drive digital transformation using the modern data stack. The Company’s Co-Founders, along with shareholder and Managing Partner Anil Bharadwa, will remain significant investors and continue to serve as leaders of Cleartelligence post-close.

“We were looking for an investment partner who shared our vision for the future and is well suited to help us accelerate the growth of Cleartelligence,” said Marino. “Align Capital Partners’ relevant consulting services experience and track record of providing growth resources and execution of robust add-on acquisition strategies complements the deep technical and domain expertise of our team.”

“This is an important milestone for everyone at Cleartelligence. With this partnership, our customers can expect the same leading service experience from our highly engaged team, but with additional resources to help us best serve our customers and their ever-evolving needs,” added Keler.

“The authenticity and passion of the Align team stood out as a great cultural fit to our team of data experts,” Bharadwa said. “We’re energized by the opportunity ahead of us given the growing demand for cloud-based solutions to help organizations tackle the proliferation and usage of data.”

Cleartelligence marks ACP’s first investment within IT services and builds on the firm’s experience and resources deployed with other high impact consulting investments, including WilliamsMarston and E Source. “Cleartelligence has built a highly respected firm in its markets and ACP is excited to invest in the continued expansion of the Cleartelligence team and service offering,” said ACP Partner Jack Parks. “Together with management, we will also be pursuing strategic add-on acquisitions to expand the Company’s reach and better serve its customers.”

Vice President James Moss and Associate Vijay Senthilkumar worked alongside Mr. Parks on the transaction. Cleartelligence was advised on the transaction by Equiteq and Fox Rothschild LLP, while ACP was advised by McGuireWoods LLP.
