Steve also had prior roles in commercial lending, owning a computer peripheral manufacturer and serving as CEO of a medical device manufacturer.

When asked to reflect on the impact of working with Steve for most of his private equity career, ACP Co-Founder and Managing Partner Chris Jones said, “Many parents tell their kids that they will be known by the quality of the people with whom they surround themselves, and I couldn’t be prouder to have partnered with Steve in founding ACP. He has been an incredible mentor and friend to me, and his drive and perseverance have become hallmarks of our firm’s culture. I’m very glad that Steve has agreed to remain on our investment committee, so that our team and investors continue to benefit from his experience. I’m incredibly happy for Steve and his family and know they will enjoy his well-deserved retirement.”

“I want to congratulate Steve on a terrific career,” added ACP Co-Founder and Managing Partner Rob Langley. “Steve has been a great partner, mentor and friend to me over the years. His passion for excellence has set the standard at ACP and will have a long-lasting impact on our firm. Steve has built a great track record of investments over the course of his career, but it’s his commitment toward investing in his colleagues and the people around him that I admire most. Chris and I, along with many others, have been the beneficiary of this dedication to team development, which is the truly unique and valuable imprint Steve leaves behind.”
